Central Japan International Airport [Centrair] is at an artificial island off the coast of Tokoname City in Ise Bay, as the gateway to the Chubu area by air. International and domestic flights are in the same terminal, so smooth transfers are made from the arrival floor [second floor at Terminal 1 / first floor at Terminal 2] to the departure floor [third floor at Terminal 1 / second floor at Terminal 2]. Note that the two terminals are a bit far apart, so be sure to be at the right terminal by checking the airline.

At the Central Japan International Airport [Centrair], there are an area resembling Japanese post towns with tiled roofs, dining zone to enjoy the local food “Nagoya Meshi”, typical Japanese dishes and Western dishes, “Meihinkan” with all kinds of souvenirs from Aichi Prefecture, and a wide variety of stores, including big-name fashion retailers are located.

From Central Japan International Airport [Centrair] to Nagoya: Take the μSKY [Myu-Sky] by Nagoya Railroad to reach Nagoya as short as 29 minutes. There are also other limited express / semi-express trains bound for Nagoya.
