Ishikawa Prefecture is located between Fukui and Toyama prefectures in the Chubu region, facing the Sea of Japan. The area is home to Kenrokuen, one of the three most famous gardens in Japan, Wakura Onsen which dates back over 1,200 years, and many other hot springs, places of scenic beauty and historic interest, and bountiful nature. With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen in 2015, Kanazawa, the prefecture's capital, can be reached in as little as 2 hours and 30 minutes from Tokyo, making it a popular tourist destination for many people all throughout Japan.

・From JR Tokyo Station to JR Kanazawa Station, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen for about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
・From JR Nagoya Station to JR Kanazawa Station, take the Shirasagi limited express train for about 3 hours.
・From JR Osaka Station to JR Kanazawa Station, take the Thunderbird limited express train for about 2 hours and 10 minutes.

■ Bus
From JR Nagoya Station (Meitetsu Bus Center) to JR Kanazawa Station, take an expressway bus for about 3 hours and 40 minutes.
