Central Japan International Airport (Chubu Centrair)

Central Japan International Airport (Chubu Centrair) was built on an artificial island in Ise Bay off the coast of Tokoname City as the air gateway to the Chubu area. International and domestic flights are located in the same terminal, and passengers can smoothly transfer between international and domestic flights by simply going from Level 2, which is the arrival floor, to Level 3, which is the departure floor, making it extremely convenient.

Nagoya is a city in the center of Japan

The airport also has a shopping zone that includes “Chochin Yokocho,” an area with tiled roofs reminiscent of a traditional Japanese inn town, a gourmet zone where you can enjoy Japanese and Western cuisine made with local ingredients and traditional Nagoya city cuisine known as “Nagoya meshi.” There is also the “Meihinkan,” a gift store selling all kinds of souvenirs from Aichi Prefecture and a wide variety of other stores, including big-name retailers selling miscellaneous, fashion items, etc.
