3. Selection of Special Guest Rooms

The nine uniquely styled rooms each comes with its own view of the gardens, with sunken hearth, a bedroom with two tatami spaces and a bed, a special room with a bath made of hinoki wood, and four rooms of the new building consisting of two Japanese-styled rooms with bath made of Japanese cypress. Some of the rooms are able to "dine-in". Other rooms have an indoor porch with brazier, some with a bed instead of Japanese futon, rooms with working space, rooms with shower booth instead of bathtub, and the room plans with meals served in a private dining room, all available for your preference.

4. Relax in the Large Public Bath

The spacious public bath will make you relax. One of the large public baths, "ajisai" also has an open-air bath attached. The hot water pumped up from 300 meters below the ground is gentle on the skin, will bring you an interlude of bliss leisurely soaking in the hot water. When traveling with small children and feel difficult to use the large public bath, a room with a Japanese cypress bath is recommended.

5. Ideal Location for Sightseeing

The bus stop #7 "Ginza-gai" is a 10-minute walk from YASUI. Take the "Round route bus under the Hikone Castle" to Hikone Castel, Ryutanji Temple, Yumekobashi Castle Road, and other tourist attractions. Hikone Castel, the former residence of the Feudal Lords Ii family, who held important positions in the Edo shogunate and supported the reign of the Tokugawa Family. The castle tower, annexed turrets, and Tamon Turret are designated National Treasures, and the beautiful appearance is a prime destination.
