At Nabana no Sato in Kuwana City, around 300 Somei Yoshino trees bloom and the cherry blossoms are illuminated at night. For a different atmosphere, Mitake no Sakura in Tsu City—selected as one of Japan’s “Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots”—features old yamazakura trees and a landscape where the blossoms reflect on rice terraces, creating a view unique to the area. In early April, Suzuka City hosts a lively festival with stage programs and food stalls, making spring a season when you can experience distinctly different cherry blossom scenes across Mie.
